Privacy policy
We collect as little as we can, use it only to help you buy from us, and never sell it.
Draft — final terms coming soon. Last updated .
Who we are
Gardner Toolhouse is a local seller of new, open-box and used tools in Salt Lake City, UT 84104. "We", "us" and "our" in this policy mean Gardner Toolhouse. You can reach us at (801) 834-4309 (call or text) or gardnertoolhouse9@gmail.com.
What we collect
When you text, call or email us
Your phone number or email address, and whatever you choose to send us, like the item you're asking about or a pickup time.
When you send a request on this site
If you use a form on this site, for example to ask for a hold or to be told when something comes in, we collect what you enter: usually your name, mobile number, the item or kind of tool, and any note.
When you buy
What you bought, the price, the date and how you paid. Card, PayPal and Venmo payments are handled by those payment services; we don't store your card number.
When you visit this site
Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes basic technical information to deliver and protect the site, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request.
How we use it
- To answer your questions and send you more photos or details
- To confirm holds and set up pickups
- To let you know when something you asked about comes in, if you asked us to
- To keep sales records, including for sales tax
- To keep the site running, secure and free of spam
Who we share it with
We don't sell your information. Mobile information won't be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing.
We only share what's needed with the services we use to run the business:
- Cloudflare, which hosts this website
- Google, which provides our email
- The payment services you choose at pickup (card processor, PayPal or Venmo)
We may also share information if the law requires it.
Cookies and tracking
This site doesn't set its own cookies and doesn't use analytics or advertising tags right now: no Google Analytics and no Meta (Facebook) Pixel. Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary security cookie to protect the site from abuse.
If we add analytics or advertising tools later, we'll update this page before they go live, explain what they collect, and tell you how to opt out.
Links to our Facebook page take you to Facebook, which has its own privacy policy.
Text messages
When you text us, we reply to you, about your request. Texting us doesn't sign you up for a marketing list, and we don't send bulk promotional texts.
How long we keep it
- Hold and request records: we remove names and phone numbers after 18 months.
- Sales records: as long as tax and business record rules require.
- Hosting logs: kept by Cloudflare for a limited time under its own policies.
Your choices
You can ask us what we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, unless we have to keep it for tax or legal reasons. Text, call or email us.

This site is meant for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.
